i am back.. one month never touch ball.. i know everyone is very busy but still let me know whether this month can we play frenly.. i have lobangs.. updates on the team.. rong and i will be joinin the work force soon.. another rong is tacklin a levels.. yuxian is flyin tml for exercise purple kangaroo and back on 24.. bon voyage..

FINAL SCORE READS -- Hornyteam 5:2 LHFC

SCORERS -- junhao X 2, richard X 2, songq

HOW THE MATCH WENT --
1. hornyteam took the early lead when a songq flick on from kayun's goal kick was calmly finished by junhao. 1-0 hornyteam.

2. the lead was doubled when a neat cut back from yuxian was met by a neat finish from richard. 2-0 hornyteam.

3. the slaughter continued, an outstanding volley from richard at the left edge of the penalty box made it 3-0 for hornyteam.

4. a quick corner was taken by zhiping to richard who delivered a text book cross for songq to head home. 4-0 hornyteam.

5. lhfc pulled one back before half time when a weird long ball from their right back miraculously sailed over kangchiat into the net. 1-4 lhfc.

6. lhfc's number 7 obviously dived and earned them a penalty, which kangchiat unfortunately conceded. 2-4 lhfc.

7. a long ball from songq was missed by lhfc defender and junhao cleverly sneaked in to score. 5-2 hornyteam till the final whistle.

VERDICT --

probably the most rubbish game i (and the team) have played despite the scoreline. i mean, if you call this football, i would never have been drawn towards the game in the first place.

obviously there were some external factors (what's new?) such as the sandy + bumpy pitch, the unhelpful ref, the fact that lhfc is the most long ball team that we've faced, etc etc. but the fact is that we've let the flow to overwhelm us and yeah, it was definitely an awful game in terms of style and, so much being said about how poorly we played in the prev match, this was definitely worse.

the only positive perhaps is that we are having more players to share the scoring load finally, and contrary to popular belief, we aint that vulnerable towards long ball. otherwise, i would say there's nothing much to be happy about actually.

INDIVIDUAL PERFORMANCE --

kangchiat (6.5) : rather unsure in goal, probably due to his lengthy absence. did save a penalty and hopefully that will do well for his confidence.

loy (7) : wasn't really tested on the right but was a solid performance nevertheless.

ivan (6) : a bad day in the office for the captain as the opponents focused to attack down his flank. judgement was pretty weird today especially in the second half. was unlucky to concede the penalty though.

delwyn (7) : still a lil unconvincing when it comes to tackling, but his heading has improved by leaps and bounds.

kyle (7) : quite a strong performance at the back. need to communicate more though.

centre mids: disappointing in the sense that there's no passing in the midfield park (not that there's much in the rest of the sectors anyway) at all. the long ball game meant that the centre mid area was often bypassed and apart from challenging for the occassional second balls, they were really redundant in this game.
individual breakdown:
zhiping (6.5): ball watcher.

kenneth (7): had more to cover than zhiping as he was nearer to ivan, but generally was pretty much a pedestrian too.

junrong (6): probably didn't even see the ball for more than 5 times.

yuxian (7.5) : had his moments down the left and supplied two assists for the forwards.

junhao (8) : the right mid had a golden touch today, with two goals under his name despite minimum involvements.

richard (9) : two extraordinary goals and one quality assist to show piece. may wanto consider holding the ball and involve the team more often instead of just charging into alleys, esp when we have taken a comfortable lead.

songq (8.5) : another strong performance with another goal to boast for. same advice to that of richard.
