final score read hornyteam 3:6 wanderers
e match started after much delay n hornyteam was pretty blunt for only the current crop of players hu's playin in e a div (ie richard, ivan n yuxian) was able to settle into e game. hornyteam's first attack came when stonez fired a gay shot way out which was greeted wid disgust by his own team mates. a confusion btw max n wayne den saw wanderers capitalisin our mistake n took a shock lead. not e start hornyteam had in mind.
hornyteam's first potent attack finally arrived when a lil passin movement down e left flank (albeit aint a smooth one) saw ivan lim free n his cross nearly turned into a fluke goal as e ball somewhat beat e keeper but was cruelly denied by e crossbar. some scrappy football frm both sides followed wid richard n yuxian literally havin a tug of war, while kenbang was denied space n stonez has struggled to find his feet.
n out of sudden leung kahyun decided that enough is enough. a goal kick frm wayne got e striker through, n he made no mistake to put e ball into e net. a typical kahyun kiappish goal n hornyteam equalised.
e score din level for long though. an individual effort frm wanderers' number 9 saw em tookin e lead once again. hornyteam den undeservedly conceded the 3rd goal. a seemingly threatless long shot from wanderers' number 12 was curlin off target, yet e ball managed to hit e luckless clement n deflected into e net. wanderers were delighted n hornyteam was left dumbfounded.
2nd halv started without richard n labond hu both had functions to attend. ought to make a point however, hornyteam started e game strongly, even when we only have 10 men. e drizzlin weather helped too, as hornyteamers worked deir socks off, harrassin opponents whenever they get e ball. even e much criticised slacker stonez managed to get stuck in, n hornyteam was rewarded for their effort when stonez squared a ball to kahyun hu was unmarked n without hesitation deejay kyle smashed e ball into e roof of e net wid his left leg. wanderers' keeper was left stranded n e belief was back in hornyteam camp.
things got even better 5 mis ltr. ivan lim won e ball down left n launched a quick counter attack, pumpin e ball forward to yuxian. e hornyteam debutant beat his marker beautifully n showed e wanderers' last man a clean pair of heels. racin thru, yuxian slid e ball pass e keeper in style. wad a goal n wad a debut.
e morale of hornyteam was definitely boasted. indeed, hornyteam attacked wave after wave with stonez, kenneth kwan, yuxian n delwyn all havin halv chances. a dubious decision however denied hornyteam's effort. wanderers number 9 went down as if he was shot by a gun after collidin wid kahyun n eared a free kick jus outside e penalty area. e shot hit e wall n sailed into e sky. wanderers number 10 was e first to react, backin into wayne n scored an outrageous bycicle kick. wanderers 4 hornyteam 3.
hornyteam continued to attack in search for e equaliser. at this point of time, wanderers decided that winning is more important n began to play e long ball game. given the difference in size, hornyteam found it difficult to deal with wanderers physical prescence. 2 headers by wanderers' number 9, 1 frm long throw n e other frm corner, saw hornyteam thrillin 6-3. although stonez, yuxian n delwyn still managed to find time to test wanderers' keeper, neither was able to beat him n e game ended wid hornyteam learnin a few valuable lessons.

man-of-match: wanderer's number 9.
moment-of-match: yuxian's solo effort which got hornyteam back into e game.
moan-of-match: hornyteam's woeful defendin durin set-pieces.
verdict: we missed AK's presence. we need to cool down n be more patient durin build-ups.
