A damn LONG post, but LONG time never post mah...lame...
Finally, I'm posting after a long hiatus...pardon me...ran out of stamps...
After wandering around East Singapore in the morning, went Westmall to meet the hairless people, still hairless and heirless.
There was a botak, a beckham, and a platoon ic. Unlike Samson, their ability to act wen wasn't lost along with the hair.
Watched kungfu hustle, which wasn't really that funny. The one-word comments and side remarks by the "H" people tickled me more. The show is over-rated, I chowed down Stephen's attempts to make me laugh, but I couldn't really digest it. The comical element of the show was too full of lactose, which I am a little intolerant towards. Actually, a better word to describe the jokes is "cheesy", or an alternative would be "gay", maybe as much as Alexander. Then again, Alex fits the bill as well, don't know about Kexin though. Anyway, I found the comedic and emotional part of the show to be more cheesy than the nachos I purchased at the counter. By the way, one of you still owe me the $3.50 change for the movie tickets. I bought it at the "pre-sale price" and not the "door-sale price"...lame...yeah lame will be another word to describe the show on the whole. Nonetheless, the movie's kungfu action certainly packed some punch. Much more than an auntie packing fruit juices for a picnic. Yep, Stephen(I ain't refering to a certain "H" member) did indeed impress with his kungfu choreography. Maybe it was animated, but which part of acting isn't animate? Back to the point, quite a subtantial portion og the movie was edited with CGI-animation, probably the aftermath of Shaolin Soccer. But Chow tried to impress on people that he's not just about soccer and Shaolin Soccer is a done movie. Otherwise, how can one explain the "extra" scene when he stepped on, and burst a soccer ball after doing some tricks including "around the world"? What did the crying kids represent? Did it represent the mass audience? That's left to us to ponder. Talking about mass audience, this show totally tries to accomodate the masses. It certainly succeeded in doing this, as the humour was so benign, it could have caused a malignant tumour. If all you want is a laugh, you'll be better of sticking to TV shows like "Friends" and taiwanese variety shows by KangKang, NoNo, and the like.
Enough of the movie review, or I would sound like Max after watching "Alexander"...
So after that we went to play soccer at the famous Westmall court. Besides the drizzle and wet floor causing us to slip and lose our balance, and causing Max's occassional falls, which he claimed was acted out, we were actually wen3, or maybe we were just animating or acting. Whatever the case, we witnessed the smoothness and flair of RV's sec3 dance society all-star soccer team members...lame...we actually lost after some time. Most "gay" is that the dancing queens or kings, shocked us with their persistence to leave...I certainly wasn't happy with this, as I wanted to leave for an important dinner earlier, and waited about half an hour for another game under the persuasion of the 3 very, highly "H" people. The worse thing was, the taxi fare was expensive, what with the extra peak hour surcharge, and the totally unlucky and uncalled for TRAFFIC JAM. I arrived at the dinner late, and $13.40 poorer thanks to the taxi fare, which Max approximated to be about $5.00, as Ang Mo Kio is very near Bukit Batok. I guess Max isn't really good at approximating. Nonetheless, I had quite some fun with the "H" people, and definitely got to see them and their crowning glory...oops, its not really glorious as there's really nothing much on their head except the scalp and "cactus pricks", but of course others like me are going to suffer a similar fate soon too.
Thanks to Labond for coining the term "'H' people", it certainly was a breath of fresh air from a Wayne-"de-spiced"-Labond, without the pepper, salt, tumeric and star anis. By the way, I can bang already, contrary to Labond's belief that I can't. This post is testament to my testosterone...lame...gay...Anyway, Chow! Till next time! Remain horny, folks!
